Community Resilience Network

AHC Protect is building a network of farms, land and properties across metro Atlanta that strengthen our community every day – and can step up when disruptions hit.

In normal times, Resilience Sites grow food and host gardening classes, volunteer harvest days, food-preservation workshops, seed exchanges and community meals. During a disruption – an outage, severe weather, a declared emergency – pre-vetted sites can choose to activate what they have been approved for: food or water distribution, device charging, cooking, or a gathering point.

Not every property does everything

  • Resource Site – food production, supplies, skills, equipment, storage
  • Support Site – adds distribution, water, charging, cooking and community support
  • Resilience Site – adds the ability to keep operating through outages
  • Emergency Host Site – specially inspected and approved for temporary hosting during defined emergencies

You decide what you offer. AHC visits, assesses, and approves each site only for what it can safely do – and you can step back at any time. Exact locations stay private unless you choose to be listed. AHC sites never replace official emergency services; in an emergency, call 911.

Offer land, a farm or a property

Tell us what you have and what you’d be comfortable offering. This is an expression of interest, not a commitment – we’ll reach out within a week to schedule a visit.
