Atlanta Healing Community (AHC) runs UPLIFT to help individuals and families connect with resources and opportunities. This notice explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are

What we collect and why
- Your name, email, and phone, so a navigator can reach you.
- What you need help with and your ZIP code, so we can find the right resource near you.
- Anything else you choose to tell us. Please don’t include medical, legal, or other private details on our forms.
- Whether the connection worked and what got in the way, so we can improve. We report this only as totals, never with your name.
What’s optional
Only your first name, email, need, and ZIP code are required. Everything else is your choice.
Who can see it
Only AHC staff and trained volunteers who need it to help you. A delivery volunteer sees only what they need for that delivery.
When we share it
We share your name and contact information with a partner organization only if you say yes. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
We delete your contact details within 30 days after your request is closed. We keep only anonymous totals (like “12 food referrals in 30318 this fall”).
Limits of confidentiality
We may have to share information without your permission if someone is in danger, if we suspect a child or vulnerable adult is being harmed, or if the law requires it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information, or withdraw a permission, by emailing atlhealingcommunity@gmail.com.
Concerns
If you think your information was mishandled, email us and we’ll respond within 5 business days.
