Atlanta Healing Community Inc. (“AHC”) shares information about local businesses, organizations, practitioners, events, jobs, volunteer opportunities and other resources through the CONNECT directory, the UPLIFT program, this website, our emails and our social media. We do this to help people find options. Please read how that information should be used.

Information only, not an endorsement

A listing, referral, feature, podcast, review or mention is not an endorsement, recommendation, guarantee or certification by AHC of any business, person, product, service, event or organization. AHC does not employ, supervise or control the businesses and resources we list, and they are not our agents or partners unless we say so in writing.

We don’t verify everything

Many listings are added by AHC from public sources or submitted by the businesses themselves. AHC does not check licenses, credentials, insurance, background checks, safety practices, pricing, hours or eligibility rules, unless a listing is marked “Verified by Atlanta Healing Community”. Even then, verification only means we confirmed the business exists and is operating at that time. Details change often and may be out of date or incomplete. Please confirm information directly with the provider before you visit, pay, share personal information or rely on a service.

Use your own judgment

Any decision to contact, hire, buy from, attend, volunteer with or work for a listed business or resource is yours alone. Any agreement, payment, service or interaction is strictly between you and that provider. Nothing on this site or in our communications is medical, mental health, legal, financial or other professional advice. Always ask a qualified professional about your situation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, AHC and its board members, officers, staff, volunteers and partners are not responsible or liable for any loss, injury, damage, cost or dispute arising from your use of, or reliance on, any listing, referral or resource, or from the acts, omissions, products or services of any third party. That includes any business, organization, event host or employer we list or mention. All information is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. AHC does not control and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.

In an emergency

The directory and UPLIFT are not emergency services. If you are in danger, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988. For urgent help with shelter, food or utilities, call 211.

Report a problem

If a listing is wrong, unsafe or misleading, use Report Listing on its page or email atlhealingcommunity@gmail.com. Businesses can claim their listing to update it, or ask us to correct or remove it at any time. AHC may edit or remove any listing at its discretion.
