Canine Assistants

Canine Assistants is a Milton-based nonprofit that raises and trains service dogs and places them with people with disabilities, including mobility needs, seizure disorders and Type 1 diabetes, at no cost to recipients.

It also brings therapy dogs into children’s hospitals, runs the K-9 Kids reading program, gives disability-awareness presentations and offers local volunteer opportunities.
